Question & Answer

Hip Slippage Causes | Ask the Expert
The hip slippage may be to do with a tendon issue versus the hip joint itself. Either a tendon is rubbing/moving which gives the sensation of a slippage. Or the other possibility is the hip joint itself (if there is cartilage damage within the joint) and during certain motions of the hip, it "clicks" and may be painful. It's best to get advice from an orthopedic surgeon. Read more: Understanding Hip Pain Causes Hip pain Quiz.
